PRAYER IN CHURCH
Dear
Father, let this congregation hear
Thy sacred Word in sweet humility;
Let understanding grow more deep and clear
As unselfed, reverent thought communes with Thee.
Let no confusion mar this holy hour,
No stubborn will refuse to share the feast,
No timid seeker lack Thy proven power,
And no small faith here fail to be increased.
Let all Thy children in Thy love abide
And there be comforted and satisfied.
