I became interested in Christian Science many years ago when a little girl was visiting us. She told me about Science and a healing she had had. At that time I had many ailments. As she told me of the many things this Science had done for her, I thought, "How wonderful it would be if I could be healed through Christian Science!" She assured me that I could be healed. This has been proved true, for I have had many healings since then. An outstanding one was that of a broken arm. I fell on a waxed mat one night, breaking my arm and hurting my shoulder. I applied the truth of Christian Science to the best of my understanding. In the morning a practitioner was called, and later on an X ray was taken, which showed that the bone had been broken clear across and the shoulder injured. The X ray showed that the bone was already set perfectly. For this I was indeed most grateful.

My husband was healed of what the doctor said was an attack of appendicitis. The doctor told him he would have to be operated on at once; instead, a Christian Science practitioner was called, and through his loving help my husband was able to go back to work in a few days. The healing was permanent.

I am indeed grateful to God for Christian Science, revealed to the world through Mary Baker Eddy. I am also grateful for the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner and to all who have helped me along the way.—(Mrs.) Lestie Lorene St. John, Dayton, Ohio.
