Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Hamilton, Ohio (First Church).

The edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Hamilton, at 128 North Second Street, was dedicated during a service on Sunday morning, November 9, 1947, which was repeated in the afternoon.

The first Christian Science services in Hamilton were held in June, 1901, when a group of people interested in its teachings met in the home of one of the group. Sunday services and Wednesday meetings were held regularly.
