During the nine years that I have studied Christian Science I have had many demonstrations, including healings of colds, hay fever, headaches, a diseased condition of the nails, corns, and many faults of disposition.

One healing for which I have been most grateful was that of a swelling on my legs and ankles. It was a slow healing, but I am grateful that it forced me to rely wholly upon God, and thereby I gained a better understanding of the rules of Christian Science.

From childhood I had had a fear of eating cucumbers. I always felt uncomfortable for several hours after eating anything containing them, unless they were prepared in a special way. This fear was healed instantly when I was studying this statement in the Bible (Matt. 6: 25): "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat." Now I can eat every variety of food that may be set before me.
