THE LAW OF GOOD

Our Master said,
"My words shall never pass away."
His words!
"After this manner therefore pray ..."
"Arise and walk"!—"Stretch forth thine hand"!
No adversary could withstand
The mighty law those words expressed
Of liberty to all oppressed
By fear and dread.
That law today
Is operating still through prayer,
For Love,
Its Principle, is everywhere,
Feeding, preserving, redolent
With tenderness, omnipotent—
The only law our Master knew,
Who came his Father's will to do
And point the way.
