Love That Is of God
The Rev. J. Richmond Craig in a discourse reviewed in the United Churchman Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada
What is wanting in all the world that, with all its knowledge and science and invention, it cannot reach the peace and harmony it seeks? Why are business, politics, and even home life in such a turmoil? Is it not the lack of love, the love that is in the heart of God?
There are two kinds of love, the selfish love that seeks to possess, and the godly love that seeks to give and redeem. The latter is what the world needs. That is the love that is in Christ.
