I did not come to Christian Science...

I did not come to Christian Science for healing, but to fill a void left at the passing on about thirty years ago of a brother who had been very close to me. After studying "Science and Health with Key to the "Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for a few weeks I had an entirely different concept of health and life and found many things in my thinking that needed correcting.

I have been healed of ivy poisoning, appendicitis, and hernia; and more recently, at the passing on of my mother, by my holding to the truth of the one Life, the sense of separation was overcome. Many other errors have been met and risen above.

I am especially grateful for the Christian Science Hymnal and Hymnal Concordance. I am a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church. I am grateful that our Leader saw the truth so clearly that she could impart it to others through her writings.—(Miss) Martha A. Manning, Norwich, Connecticut.
