I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and to share some of the blessings and healings that I have experienced through the study and application of this truth.

A number of years ago I experienced the healing of a growth on my neck just below the jawbone. I received the loving and encouraging help of a practitioner, and although the healing seemed slow I did not suffer the least discomfort at any time. It is stated in Hebrews (4:12) that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," and the sword of Truth did operate to remove this condition. One Sunday afternoon I noticed that the place had opened, and from then on it began to drain and disappear. This was the most convincing proof of God's power and presence that I have ever had, and looking back on the experience, I have been grateful for the progress in understanding that it brought me.

At another time, when I was starting down a flight of marble stairs in an office building, my heel slipped and I found myself bumping down over the stairs, unable to stop until I was about halfway down. When I tried to get up I felt quite faint, so sat down, declaring the truth. People who heard me fall came to see what had happened. I was helped back to the office where I was employed and later sent home in a cab.
