Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Michigan

Nearly all newspaper editors recognize that Christian Science now occupies a respected place in the religious world, and much of the credit for this is due to the influence of The Christian Science Monitor. Nearly two hundred editors in Michigan now receive our daily newspaper on an exchange-for-advertising basis and frequently quote from its editorial and news columns. The article regarding the Monitor by Marquis W. Childs in The Saturday Evening Post, and reprinted in The Reader's Digest, brought forth a great deal of favorable comment.

In spite of restrictions on newsprint editors continue to give a generous amount of space to reports of Christian Science lectures.
