Love's Covenant

MILES BUCKSTON WATTS

Great peace have they who steadfast cling
To God when famine grips the land;
Nought shall despoil their harvesting,
For Truth and Life are in command.

Great peace have they, for God has said
That they who sow, shall surely reap
Full measure of their daily bread;
And He His covenant will keep.

Great peace have they who wait on God,
His spiritual fullness to reveal;
With joy they pass beneath His rod,
And ever prove Love's power to heal.
