Fruitage from Window Displays
A young man came in to ask if he could purchase a copy of the "Daily Prayer" (Manual, Art. VIII, Sect. 4) displayed in the window. He memorized it then and there.
An educated Maori, after reading the open pages of the Christian Science Quarterly on display, came in to have the Lesson-Sermon explained to him. About the same time another Maori came in to purchase the Quarterly open at the Lesson-Sermon, "God the Preserver of Man." He said the Responsive Reading had brought him great comfort.
A man who was in the Reading Room for the first time to buy a copy of The Christian Science Monitor also bought a Sentinel, and soon after subscribed for the Journal, Quarterly, and Monitor. His children now attend our Sunday school, and he attends both the Wednesday night and Sunday morning services.
