Your correspondent, whose letter on Christian Science appeared in your recent issue, very evidently has not grasped the meaning of the teachings of Christian Science or the spiritual basis on which they rest.

The Bible contains many references to the protecting and sustaining power of God, and many passages could be quoted to that effect. As one acquires a more enlightened understanding, the ever-presence of God becomes more apparent and readily available.
