An understanding of the true...
"God is working His purpose out
As year succeeds to year."
An understanding of the true nature and relationship of God and man, as presented in Christian Science, enables us to recognize the working of divine will in individual experience. Looking back, I see how surely the Father-Mother God has guided my feet in the way of His appointing. From the earliest days, as I have sought to go forward spiritually, in like degree have health, happiness, and intelligence unfolded. Whenever I have been content to remain at the standpoint gained— perhaps vaguely hoping to circumvent the tasks confronting me—I have been lovingly chastened, and firmly led to trust in His guiding and press on. Although I did not understand this as a youngster, I know now it is true.
