Christian Science first came into my life when I was seeking a religion that would satisfy every need of human existence. Although my grandfather and my father were ministers in an orthodox church, and I visited many other churches, I could not find healing and peace in their teachings. Friends told me of this wonderful Science of healing, governed and directed by God, the Giver of all good. To them I shall always be most grateful.

A young daughter was healed of tuberculosis with the help of a kind and patient practitioner. She was also protected in an accident, when a car struck her small car broadside at a crossing. She is a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church. A son, now a captain in the United States Army, has applied Christian Science successfully for healing, protection, and business problems. He, too, is a member of The Mother Church.

Christian Science healed me of sick headaches after I had suffered from them for twenty years; also of the fear of going into crowds, and of constipation. These errors have disappeared into their native nothingness. A trying illness of pleurisy was healed in three days' time, with the help of a practitioner.
