It gives me much joy to express in this testimony my gratitude for the teaching of Christian Science and the efficacy of its healing power.

The young woman to whom my son was engaged was returning home from business one night when suddenly signs of physical distress with hemorrhage developed. She was removed to a hospital, where she was retained for observation and X-ray examination. This occurred just prior to the day fixed for the wedding.

We immediately consulted a Christian Science practitioner and expressed anxiety concerning the result of the forthcoming examination. The practitioner encouraged us to have faith, reminding us that Pilate, speaking of Jesus, said to his accusers (Luke 23:4), "I find no fault in this man." We were told that this was true of every one of God's children, because God's work is perfect. The quiet confidence of the practitioner set our fears at rest and helped us to rely upon Truth.
