Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 79), "Giving does not impoverish us in the service of our Maker, neither does withholding enrich us," and the Bible says, "Freely ye have received, freely give."

I have been encouraged and inspired by the testimonies in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel for thirty-five years, and I hope someone will be benefited by mine. Since I first realized somewhat the truth of "the scientific statement of being" (ibid., p. 468), I have had increasing proof of my oneness with God. I came into this Science because of a great mental strain. Hate and resentment, resulting from another's apparent treachery, had to be cast out. Six years of scientific study and practice gave me a knowledge of the allness of Life and the consequent nothingness of death.

Every erroneous condition with which I have been faced has been healed through the understanding of man's dominion over all that is unlike God, good. Financial difficulties and inharmonious personal relationships have been overcome, and high blood pressure was healed after three weeks' treatment. I was also healed of an injury to the spine, resulting from a fall.
