Bridling the Tongue
[Of Special Interest to Big Children]

"For your penitence, now, do this," said the father: "take a bag of chicken down. Go through the whole village and drop one tiny bit of down in each yard. When you have done this, return to me."
The young man thought his punishment light; so with a bag of down he set out and dropped one tiny feather in each yard. Then he returned to his father, exclaiming, "I have done my penitence!"
