In your recent issue appears an article entitled "In Adam All Die," which refers to Christian Science in a manner which gives your readers a wrong impression of the teachings of Christian Science, and I feel that they are entitled to a corrective statement.

Even a casual perusal of the article discloses the fact that the writer did not investigate very carefully the teachings of Christian Science on the subject, or he could not have arrived at the conclusions set forth. After a somewhat lengthy discourse on death, the writer of the article implies that Christian Scientists consider death "a pernicious illusion, and that even to think about it is to become a victim of the false and degraded figments of mortal mind." The word "death" appears no less than three hundred times in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
