Christian Science is indeed proving...
Christian Science is indeed proving today that the sword of Truth is quick and powerful, and I wish to express my gratitude for what it has done for me.
This Science came into my life at an early age, thus enabling me to attend the Sunday school, where I was taught the truth about God and man. Many and varied are the experiences in which Christian Science has proved to me the reality of being in God's likeness. I was healed of appendicitis, of colds, and of grief occasioned by the passing on of two loved ones.
God's loving hand was seen at the time of my enlistment in the Army, where, with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed of shin splints in a short time. Within a week I was able to go with my company on a hike of twelve miles, and on the following day I ran the cross country in almost record time. On another occasion, with the help of a practitioner, I was healed of athlete's foot.
