The Fourth Beatitude
Whoever
hungers for the bread of Truth
Or longs for water Love alone supplies,
Sinner or saint, aged or but a youth,
He shall receive the food that satisfies.
Life shall bestow on him the joy of life:
Mind shall reveal the truth that maketh free;
Love shall uproot the bitter weeds of strife
And plant instead the flower charity.
He shall delight in every perfect gift
Fidelity to Principle shall bring.
Till, in the power of Spirit, strong and swift,
He soars to Soul on inspiration's wing.
