"Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick," writes Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health (pp. 476,477). These words stood out to me when I was trying to overcome a sudden attack of influenza.

We are taught in Christian Science not to look for a material cause, but to recognize God, good, as the only cause. In searching my thinking, I realized I had been trying to see myself as perfect, even while I was accepting imperfection in friends I had been with that morning. I reasoned that my friends reflected God, and consequently perfection, to the same degree that I did. I knew that man, as God's reflection, expresses love, health, joy, and strength. Within two hours I was completely healed.

For the many healings that my family have experienced, and for the harmony in our home, I am sincerely grateful. I thank God that Christian Science was revealed to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.—(Mrs.) Kathleen Anderson, Glendale, California.
