In one of our much beloved...

In one of our much beloved hymns (No. 204) are these words: "And during the battle the victory claim." These words have helped me more than once. With much heartfelt gratitude, I wish to testify to the following healings. The first, an instantaneous one, was of pneumonia.

The next healing was slow. The trouble was rheumatism in hands and arms. Sometimes, when I found myself seeing them as useless, the way was very dark. I had nursed a parent with the same complaint, and it took me long to realize that my only Father-Mother was God. In the darkest hour I never lost hope. I rejoice today in perfect freedom. This healing, though slow, has greatly helped me to realize that there is no life in matter. Christian Science has brought me great comfort, consolation, and peace.

For our beloved Leader, Mary-Baker Eddy, who through her consecrated life and labor has given us the key to the Bible and the final revelation of Truth; for the practitioners who with unceasing love never fail to lift our thoughts heavenward; for our lecturers and literature; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and the joy of joining in its activities, and for class instruction, I can never be sufficiently grateful.—(Mrs.) Lillian Whitehorne-Cole, London, England.
