Rochester, New York (Third Church.)—Members of Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Rochester, witnessed the dedication of their church edifice on Sunday. October 25, 1942.
Organization of Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Rochester, in the summer of 1924, was undertaken by members of other Christian Science churches in an effort to meet the need of an increasing number of members and friends of the denomination residing in the southwestern section of the city. Acquisition of the property at the Brooks Avenue corner followed. For a time, the congregation conducted services at 615 Plymouth Avenue, S., but in July, 1925, worship was begun in the present edifice.—Democrat and Chronicle.
