It is with great reverence I express...
It is with great reverence I express my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the wonderful truth taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and all her other writings, and for her entire plan of salvation.
I had spent most of a year in bed. The only nourishment I could take was malted milk, and at about two o'clock each morning I had to drink milk for relief.
Then I procured the help of a Christian Science practitioner. The second night that treatment was given I felt I should not need the milk and did not have it by my bed. I awoke as usual, but without pain. I was healed, lifted out of torment. Since then I have studied and progressed in Science, have attended the lectures, services, and have been active in the work.
