It is a great pleasure and privilege to send my testimony to be published in the hope that through my experience others too may be helped. We have had the blessings of Christian Science in our home for nineteen years. During that period of time we have had many occasions to prove the healing power of Truth as taught by Mrs. Eddy, and when earnestly and faithfully applied, Science has never failed.

I shall always be very grateful to a dear sister who saw my need and did all she could to help me find the way in Christian Science. I did not have much faith in its healing power, but because I was in a deplorable condition and was suffering constantly from hemorrhoids and bowel trouble I decided to give it a chance. My healing was very slow, but much error had to be cast out to make room for Truth, and as I studied, with the help of faithful practitioners, the light of Truth began to dawn, and slowly I began to improve.

The aftereffects of an operation which I had undergone when I was quite a young girl held me in bondage until I read an article in the Christian Science Sentinel which said that God's man can never be operated upon or touched by a physician's knife, because man is spiritual. I immediately saw my relationship to God, and, needless to say, the trouble was healed.
