Introductions to Lectures
Ipswich, Suffolk, England (First Church).
Lecturer: Ralph B. Scholfield; introduced by Captain Archibald John Hughes, who said:—
Hearing this lecture may well prove an epoch-making event in the life of everyone present.
When I took up the study of Christian Science, about twenty-two years ago, I did not think I had long to live—indeed, I did not want to live in the sorry condition I was then in—for I was suffering from the effects of gas in the last war. But to my surprise and joy Christian Science healed me. I can also say from experience that Christian Science eliminates fear from our lives—makes one unafraid at times of imminent danger.
