Corrective Reply from the Committee on Publication for Connecticut
Hartford Echoes Luther K. Bell
In discussing "Christian Non-Pacifism," a recent contributor to Hartford Echoes makes certain references to Christian Science and to what it appears he believes is its attitude toward national defense and the improvement of social conditions. I shall be grateful if you will print this letter, so that your readers may be correctly informed.
Christian Science is based on the First Commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," and teaches that if all men acknowledged and obeyed the one infinite God, divine Mind, wars would cease.
