"Every good gift"
Oh,
precious gifts of Love divine
To men on earth displayed,
How good, how perfect, are they all,
Of faultless substance made—
The gifts of gladness, health, and youth
Exempt from toll of years,
Compassion, gentleness, and grace
To comfort those in tears—
The priceless gift, a mind serene,
Imbued with heavenly calm,
Dispelling anguish, doubt, and fear
With Spirit's healing balm—
The largess of a living faith
That heals the sufferer's pain
Empiercing evil's darkest hour
With light that ne'er shall wane!
