Through the study and application of Christian Science, it has been my great joy to experience many healings and to feel "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding."

My first healing took place about a month after I began attending the Christian Science services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings. For many years prior to my knowledge of Christian Science, I was living in a world seemingly full of trials and tribulations, a world that seemed dark and discordant.

There, like a lost sheep in the wilderness of error, I became the victim of what is known as chronic arthritis. This condition continued for about three years. Every year the pain was more severe. The physicians could give only slight and temporary relief, and the discomfort became worse each year.
