Freely I give to all this narrative of divine healing that others may share the rich reward which has come to me. One Christmas time I was stricken with what the medical profession termed kidney stones. Severe attacks followed one another without relief, and the diagnosis was that an operation might be necessary.

It was then, through the help of a Christian Science practitioner, that I turned wholeheartedly to God for healing. Late one afternoon I visited the practitioner, and before twelve o'clock that night, I passed two stones without pain. With this came a feeling of freedom and relief, and the understanding that "there is no power apart from God" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 228).

Since then my wife, our daughter, and I have united with a branch church and The Mother Church. Many demonstrations of the power of Truth have been made in our family. We, as a family and as individuals, express praise to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave to the world this divine teaching.—Mason C. Jones, Twinsburg, Ohio.
