The Light of Truth

The light of Truth shines brightly on the way.
If I but seek it I can ever see
The hand of God held out to beckon me
To heights where He would lead me night and day.
I must turn ever to this beacon light
If I would know the nothingness of fear;
I too must heed Truth's voice, gentle and clear,
That tells of peace, the fruit of loving right.
Each flower turns to follow with the sun
The race of every joyous, holy day.
O brother man, look up and see the way
That leads to victory in the race you run.
The Master came to hold for us the light;
He traced the way in humbleness and might.
