Lecturer: Peter V. Ross; introduced by George H. G. Caulton, who said:—

Some years ago, a young man was informed by his physician that he had a very serious ailment, and that if he wished to prolong his life he must have a complete change of climate as well as a long rest. Accordingly he journeyed several thousand miles, took a long rest—two years, in fact—and got no better. He was ultimately prevailed upon to read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. He did so, reluctantly at first, but soon became so engrossed that he read it through and through, and at the end of six weeks found he was completely healed.
