The meeting was opened with the singing of Hymn No. 24, "Blest Christmas morn," the words of which were written by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

The Chairman read from the Bible, Matthew 2:1, 2, 7, 8 (to;), 9, 10, and from "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy, 320:9, 23–30, after which the congregation united in silent prayer, followed by the audible repetition of the Lord's Prayer.
