I am grateful for Christian Science because it has proved a continuous blessing to both my wife and me for more than twelve years. During this time we have studied Christian Science and endeavored to apply its teachings, with the result that we have had many physical healings and have been directed and protected during many difficult experiences. My first healing was of incipient tuberculosis and a generally weakened physical condition, for which I had sought relief in materia medica with no satisfactory results. Upon taking up the study of Christian Science I at once discarded all material remedies and relied wholly upon Christian Science for healing, which came almost instantaneously, for certain symptoms disappeared immediately after my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner, and within a very few weeks I was able to return to work. For more than twelve years divine Love has so beautifully cared for me that I have been steadily employed and have not missed a single day of work on account of illness.

My wife has been healed of what was termed acute appendicitis and of a serious nervous condition. The latter healing took place over a period of years, with much loving help from Christian Science practitioners, who worked faithfully and persistently to destroy this condition, with the result that during the past three or four years my wife has enjoyed perfect freedom, except for an occasional minor illness, which has been quickly healed through Christian Science treatment.

We are extremely grateful for all that Christian Science has done for us and for every activity of The Mother Church, which is making the blessings of Christian Science available to all mankind. We are grateful for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for her faithful and consecrated work in giving Christian Science to the world. Both my wife and I are grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for the opportunities which membership affords of serving the Cause. We are very grateful for all the practitioners who have encouraged and helped us along the way.
