Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which has solved my every problem for many years.

I should particularly like to relate a wonderful healing which I experienced recently. One evening, while alone in the house. I was badly bitten in the mouth by a dog. I immediately repeated "the scientific statement of being" from the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468). I then bathed the wound, which soon stopped bleeding. I was then able to turn to our textbook, knowing that I should find therein all the help I needed. One thought was persistent in my mind, and that was, "What a wonderful opportunity is this to prove God's omnipotence!"

When a member of the family came in, I asked that a practitioner be called. We read in the Bible, "Before they call, I will answer," and it was so then, for the practitioner, who is also a dear friend, was already on her way. When she arrived, she helped me to realize that God is the only physician and nothing could ever attack God's child. While talking to her, I suddenly realized I felt no pain at all, and I did not feel any during the whole experience.
