A Christian Science program in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation "Devotional Period" series was conducted from Station CKY, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Sunday afternoon, May 11, from half past one to two o'clock, Eastern Standard Time, by Byron W. Galbreath, a former First Reader in a Christian Science church. The program was given under the auspices of the Committee on Publication for Manitoba, and had the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. The soloist, Nina Dempsey, was assisted by Leonard Heaton at the piano.

The program opened with Hymn No. 33 in the Christian Science Hymnal. Then Mr. Galbreath read from the Bible as follows: John 14:1—3, 12—16, 21—23, 25—27; Matthew 11:27—30. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 55:15—22; 25:16—21; 4:5—9; 326:3—5, 8—14; 265:23—30; 323:6—12; 264:24—27.

The program continued with a solo, "Prayer" by Iva B. Linebarger. Mr. Galbreath then read an address substantially as follows:
