I should like to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. My little girl awoke one morning with a fever and could not seem to breathe. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, and she very lovingly asked me to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and said that she would help me by giving a treatment. Amid a great sense of fear, I began patiently to read, and my sense of fear disappeared completely. In an hour the child's fever vanished, and in three days she was entirely normal.

About two years ago she was instantaneously healed of an abscessed ear, through the unselfish help of the same practitioner. I was very grateful for this demonstration, because a previous abscess had had to be lanced.

By reading Science and Health I have been healed of a sense of grief and of loneliness.
