The Father's Care
The
love that clothes the lily of the field,
And feeds the hungry bird,
Will care for you, God's well-beloved child;
Your faintest call is heard.
The ravens neither sow, nor reap, nor store;
Their trust, which nought can mar,
Leads them to shelter in the clefted rock.
Are you not dearer far?
The loving Father knows full well your need,
And answers every call.
Oh, may you never cease to trust in Him
Who loves and cares for all!
