The desire to worship is instinctive in every human being

Telegraph and Argus

The desire to worship is instinctive in every human being. The question is, What is the object of our worship? Paul found the Athenians worshiping an unknown God; and he declared God to them.

The world today does not lack the desire to worship; but to a very large extent it is worshiping an unknown God. Christian Science says with Paul, "Him declare I unto you." On page 465 of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes: "God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love;" and on page 140, "We shall obey and adore in proportion as we apprehend the divine nature and love Him understandingly, warring no more over the corporeality, but rejoicing in the affluence of our God."

Jesus said, "The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth."
