It is with sincere gratitude for the many blessings which the study and application of Christian Science have brought into my life, that I give this testimony.

My first experience of the efficacy of Christian Science seemed very wonderful to me. My husband was at home with smallpox, and the physician attending him said that the other members of the family should be vaccinated to become immune to it. I telegraphed a Christian Science practitioner seven hundred miles away, and through her work we were protected without resorting to material aid, and my husband felt very well all during the period of quarantine.

On one occasion our car rolled over a steep embankment, turning over twice. God's protective care was manifest in the fact that no one in the car was seriously injured. There were some bruises, but these were quickly healed. One of my arms was useless for three days after the accident, but this was healed in one treatment.
