I have known of Christian Science for many years, and have proved beyond doubt its efficacy, for I was healed of a severe rupture and have seen other members of my family healed of numerous discords, including a broken arm in a few days, and I feel I must not remain silent any longer.

At the present time, when the world is at war, I should like to declare publicly what an enormous comfort and protection Christian Science was to me during the years from 1914 to 1918.

Early in 1916 I was commissioned to what was known as a "stunting battalion," and was on active service in France for nearly three years.
