I wish to express my gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy for all the good I have received through the study of Christian Science. I did not take up this study for physical healing, but because of a very unhappy outlook on life and a continual sense of worry. My husband had passed on, and I did not know which way to turn for relief from grief.

Because I had been a graduate nurse for many years, my friends and relatives were surprised at my interest in Christian Science. I am grateful to a dear friend, who had been healed of cancer of the stomach, and who first told me of this Science.

Needless to say, because of the changed mental outlook which Christian Science brings, I have had many physical healings. Colds, which used to appear regularly many times each year, have been overcome. A broken elbow, caused by my falling down a steep flight of stairs, was healed without medical aid. On one occasion I was knocked down and run over by a car, but by knowing instantly that God fills all space, I was able to get up and walk away, silently declaring God's goodness to those who trust in Him. Another time, a badly infected hand, with swelling going towards the elbow, was healed in three days
