You published a summary of an interesting address on "Books That Have Helped Me." Among the books listed is one in which, the reviewer said, the author "recognizes Christian Science for what it is." However the author may have presented the subject, I shall be glad if you will allow me to indicate where full and correct information may be obtained.

The only book that adequately sets forth what Christian Science is, is the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. In this book the divine Principle of Christian Science is revealed, and the scientific rules for its demonstration are so simply explained that any sincere seeker for Truth may understand and practice them. The last chapter comprises letters from people in many parts of the world who have demonstrated the practical value of Christian Science in the healing of disease, of sin, and of discords of every kind, and have been healed simply by reading the textbook. Science and Health may be borrowed from any Christian Science Reading Room, and it is also available in all the public libraries of this city. Of this book Mrs. Eddy has written (p. 110), "This book may be distorted by shallow criticism or by careless or malicious students, and its ideas may be temporarily abused and misrepresented; but the Science and truth therein will forever remain to be discerned and demonstrated."
