I wish to express my sincere gratitude for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and what it is doing for the entire world. About nine years ago I was led to Christian Science, and my thankfulness has grown daily ever since. So many benefits and healings have been brought about that it is difficult to know how to choose from among them one of which to speak.
I had a healing of valvular heart trouble which, at the time it took place, seemed little short of miraculous. I desire to speak more especially, however, of the healing of one of my children, a son, who from early childhood had had weak lungs. Several doctors advised me to take him to California. They said that it would give him a "fighting chance" for his life. I was all ready to break up my home in the East and move three thousand miles to California, when Christian Science came into my life. The boy was placed in Christian Science Sunday School, where he has since been faithful in his attendance and very much interested in the lessons. The results have been remarkable. He is not like the boy he formerly was. Not only in character has he changed for the better, but physically he presents the picture of health. For many years now, there has been no sign of his former trouble.
I wish to express my appreciation of Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Especially does my gratitude go out to her for establishing the Christian Science Sunday School, which has done so much for the children. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, also in a branch church, and for having had class instruction.
