Unafraid

EMMA HODGES

Since I have known the wonder of God's might,
The radiant dawn of His eternal light,
And know that all is good that He has made,
How can I be afraid?

Since I have learned how Love can vanquish all
The boasted claims of hate and envy's thrall,
I pass through waters deep, and days of shade,
Unharmed and unafraid.
