I wish to testify to the healing power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science. There are many reasons why I should rejoice, for among other things I have been freed from the bondage of constipation, stomach trouble, bronchitis, continuous colds and coughs, and loss of strength and weight. I have gained physically, financially, and spiritually.

One healing which stands out to me more than all others is the overcoming of the desire for and the use of tobacco. I asked the practitioner to give me one treatment for this habit, to which I had been a slave for more than fifteen years, and I had an instantaneous healing. The erroneous nature of this appetite was clearly seen and realized, for which I am indeed grateful. To one struggling with this problem, I can truthfully say that absolute freedom from this bondage may be found through Christian Science, the law of God.

After the World War in 1919, I was discharged from the army suffering from stomach and throat trouble, and bronchitis, for which I tried medical, electric, and chiropractic treatment, but received no help.
