I desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science and the help it has been to me.

Some time ago I was suffering from heart trouble, and had been told that I had only a short time to live, and that if I had any business to attend to I must do it at once. An old friend, a Christian Science practitioner, called to see me; and although I had been forbidden to have any visitors, she was allowed to come in to see me. This friend told me that God would heal me. She spoke a few words of encouragement to me and helped me in Christian Science. I immediately began to improve. It seemed to me as though God took me by the hand and led me out of "the valley of the shadow of death" and "set my feet upon a rock." I did all my own work on the farm that summer and since then have led a very active life.

I have had many blessings since reading Science and Health. The study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly each day has been a great help. It gives me strength and courage for the day.
