In the report of the Committee on Public Questions of the General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland mention is made of Christian Science. There is a risk that the reference may be misunderstood.

Christian Science derives its authority from the inspired Word of the Bible, and Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has devoted a chapter in her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," to the subject of marriage, which deals fully with the question. On page 61 this statement is found: "The offspring of heavenly-minded parents inherit more intellect, better balanced minds, and sounder constitutions."

Spiritual man is recognized in Christian Science as the only real man; and in God's "light shall we see light."
