In deep gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, to Mary Baker Eddy, and to The Mother Church with its many activities and especially the periodicals, which are spreading the healing truth over the entire world, I wish to testify to a few of the many healings I have witnessed and experienced in fifteen years of studying Christian Science.

The first instantaneous healing I witnessed was that of my mother, who had never read a word of Christian Science. It was decided that she was to undergo an operation for a second time. She consented to go to a Christian Science practitioner with me. After about forty-five minutes in the practitioner's office, she walked out entirely healed and has never had a recurrence of the complaint.

I have been healed of the smoking and drinking habit, and with that demonstration the desire for tea and coffee left me; also the habit of using profane language. I have also been healed of an injured ankle. This healing was accomplished in eighteen hours, and although my work made it necessary for me to be on my feet all day, I was able to carry on.
