Twenty-five years ago I had been under a doctor's care for a month with acute neuritis. I was unable to move without great suffering, and was making no progress whatever.

Meanwhile a friend who was a Christian Scientist called to see me. I was suffering very much, and I asked her if one had to believe in Christian Science or be a member of the church to be healed. She replied, "No." I knew nothing whatever of Christian Science, but said I would try it. That was on a Sunday afternoon. The friend, who was a practitioner, gave me a treatment on Monday. Improvement was at once evident, and on Wednesday of that week I was able to turn on either side and sleep, something I had not done for a month. On Friday I was able to get up, dress myself, and go to the station to meet my husband, who had been out of town on a business trip. When he saw me he was so surprised that he asked me how I had been healed so quickly. I told him it was through Christian Science, and he was deeply grateful. As a result of this healing my entire family came into Christian Science.

Words cannot express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. It has also healed me of deep sorrow in a very short time. I am indeed grateful.
